Blackpool has bounced back from missing out on the UK’s super casino by announcing that LDA Design has won the competition for the town’s £21m People’s Playground promenade.
Robert Aspland, associate director of LDA Design, said the plan was inspired by the “otherworldliness of Gulliver’s travels and the strange landscapes of Japanese animated film”.
