Turnover at Make Architects rose 75% from £10.8m to £17.8m in the year ended 31 December 2007.

The salary of the highest paid director – who is presumed to be founding director Ken Shuttleworth – increased five times from £208,000 to £1.06m. The company made a pre-tax profit of £1.8m, a 65% rise on last year’s figure of £1.1m. The average salary rose to £89,748 last year, up from £63,780 in 2006.
