Paul Kelly bumped up to strategic advisory role
Mace has appointed a former director of Carillion’s regional business to head up its strategic advisory work at its consultancy arm.
Paul Kelly (pictured) joined Mace last year after spending four years at the bust contractor as a director at its regions and communities division before leaving in autumn 2017.
Mace said the move had been made so the firm could “work with clients early on in the programme development lifecycle. In particular, [Kelly] will be targeting roles helping large infrastructure, local and central government.”
Jason Millett, the firm’s chief operating officer for its consultancy business, said: “Our strategic advisory offering is a key growth area for consultancy at Mace. It allows us to work with clients earlier in the lifecycle of a programme or project.”
Kelly will lead a team of 50 with sector responsibilities including placemaking, strategic planning, risk management and procurement.
