Firm appoints rail experts from WSP and Kier
Mace has poached two rival directors from WSP and Kier to strengthen its infrastructure team.
The firm has appointed Jason Butterworth as director of design and transportation and Adam McAllister as head of rail in its construction division.
Butterworth was director of transport and infrastructure for engineer WSP in the Middle East and has also worked on Crossrail Bond Street station, Thameslink London Bridge station and the electrification of the West Coast Mainline.
McAllister, who joins Mace from Kier, has worked the King’s Cross station roof redevelopment, the West Coast Mainline and the recent redevelopment of Epsom station.
Jason Millett, chief operating officer for major programmes and infrastructure at Mace, said he was “delighted” to have the pair onboard.
He said: “By adding their wealth of sector knowledge to our team we will be able to support more clients in delivering their strategic plans and projects.”
