Firm set to announce 2021 results later this month
Mace has brought in an interim chief financial officer to replace Richard Bienfait who has left the firm.
Bienfait, who was higher education developer University Partnerships Programme’s chief executive, joined Mace in January 2020, replacing former group finance director Dennis Hone who retired at the end of 2019.
In a statement, Mace said: “Richard is leaving Mace to pursue other opportunities in the private sector.”
Andrew Beck, who joined Mace in May this year as group finance director, has taken up the role as Mace’s interim CFO.
Beck has held a series of interim financial director roles including online retailer Ocado, HS2 and telecoms firm BT.
Mace is due to release its 2021 results by the end of the month.
Last December, chief executive Mark Reynolds told Building he expected revenue for 2021 to be close to the £2bn mark with pre-tax profit for the year set to be 20% up on the £19.7m it posted in 2020.
