Cooper Lighting and Safety has supplied RXDI LED downlights to illuminate communal areas in a number of independent living schemes run by Wakefield and District Housing.
The organisation is undergoing a major improvement programme and specified LED lighting because it saves energy and requires minimal maintenance.
Cooper Lighting and Safety says the light has a power consumption of 25W and achieves an efficiency of up to 61 lumens per circuit watt - beating the Building Regulations requirement of 45 lumens per circuit watt for residential lighting (part L1) along with the higher requirement of 55 lumens per circuit watt for commercial lighting (part L2).
