Morgan Sindall subsidiary named as council development partner on five-year housing programme
Hounslow council has named Lovell its development partner on a scheme to build up to 350 homes for rent and shared ownership in the London borough. The contract is worth £53m.
Lovell will work alongside the borough council and Hounslow Homes, which manages the council's housing stock, on the five-year programme of work on six estates in the Heston area.
Lovell is the affordable housing arm of UK contractor Morgan Sindall.
Paul Smith, chief executive of Morgan Sindall, said: “Lovell is a market leader in the provision of affordable housing developments in partnership with housing associations and local authorities, and this new partnership is testament to our ability to deliver high-quality projects.
“We are delighted to be working with Hounslow Homes and London Borough of Hounslow on a scheme which will create a large volume of new homes in the Heston area.”
