Affordable housing contractor Lovell has been appointed to two Scottish housing frameworks worth £210m.
Glasgow City Council has chosen the company as one of the framework contractors for the second phase of the redevelopment of the Maryhill Locks site. The framework, worth £75m, will include the construction of up to 700 homes.
The company has also been selected by housing association Places for People for its £135m four-year framework to build up to 1,500 homes across Scotland’s central belt.
Regional director Alan Taylor said: “With leading expertise in new-build housing as well as housing refurbishment, we strongly welcome our appointment to these key housing frameworks in Scotland.”
