Mipim latest: £65m scheme set to go in for planning later this year
A 40-storey tower set to be the first new-build residential element of the huge Liverpool Waters development could start on site early next year, Building has learned.
The 325-apartment Princes Reach scheme is being developed by the Moda Living joint venture between Caddick Developments and Harrogate’s Generate Land.
Moda agreed terms with overall Liverpool Waters developer Peel Group for the £65m development last year.
A source close to the project told Building this week that the parties were looking to exchange on the site at the end of this month and would look to submit a detailed planning application for the tower in around six months time.
“In terms of starting on site, we’d be looking at the first quarter of 2016 for a two-year build,” he said.
Late last year Moda announced that Turner and Townsend had been appointed as project manager and cost consultant for the scheme, with Tate Consulting responsible for M&E and Roscoe structural engineering design.
Peel Group said it would make its own announcement about the scheme on Thursday.
