North Midland Construction, D Morgan and Galliford Try Infrastructure will start on regeneration contract in 2010
Liverpool council has appointed North Midland Construction, D Morgan and Galliford Try Infrastructure to its £20m City Centre Movement Strategy framework.
The contract, estimated at £20m for three years, will start in 2010 and includes the upgrade and regeneration of major city centre streets.
Peter Millea, executive member for assets and development at the council, was pleased to welcome the contractors: “We will continue to deliver excellent highway improvement schemes, on time and on budget, using quality materials, and we look forward to working with the new contractors.”
The City Centre Movement Strategy has invested £70m in new pavements, squares and highways since its launch in 2003.
