Building and restoration work win across the country boost contractor's order book

Building contractor Linford Group has announced contracts wins worth £46m for building and restoration.

The new-build work features social developments and includes projects for Walsall Housing Group, for which Linford will be one of four contractors delivering general needs affordable housing over the next four years.

The firm will also be the main building contractor for several major extra-care housing projects in Wales, for Syniad - a consortium of Welsh housing associations.

Planning permission is also being sought for a £6m development of 56 affordable houses near Flint to be built by Linford.

Meanwhile the firm has also agreed restoration contracts on a Buckingham public school grade-one listed Stowe House.
