Architect Stanton Williams has just received planning permission for a 170,000 ft2 high street store at the 1.5 million ft2 Broadmead gateway scheme in Bristol.

Designed for developer the Bristol Alliance, the building is positioned at the front of the site and will use light boxes to project large-scale images along the nearby M4. The development includes 310,000 ft2 of office space and 242 residential units. The Bristol Alliance is a joint venture between developers Land Securities and Hammerson.
