Cavity Trays has come up with a device for creating level thresholds between the interior of a building and the outside

The Level Threshold Tray enables internal and external floor levels to be joined at an opening within a cavity wall while avoiding damp being transmitted across the threshold, or from the inner skin up into the floor.

The Type LTT is made from solid petheleyne and is available in sizes to suit the dimensions of standard openings. It acts as a threshold dampproof course and extends downwards over both faces of the masonry while the ends of the tray are embedded into the masonry. The system is compatible with the firm’s range of Caviclosers.
