Bogle Architects-designed pre-school in Singapore will provide places for over 2,000 pupils
Lendlease has begun construction on what is thought to be the world’s largest nursery, the Bogle Architects-designed Early Years International School in Singapore.
The pre-school will provide places to over 2,000 children once complete in 2017. It is split into five buildings, each of which is further sub-divided into nursery clusters and has numerous drop-off points and entrances. It will also feature a swimming pool, multifunctional hall and specialist classrooms for art, music and dance.
The 50,000 sqm project’s client is Cognita Asia.
Aecom UK is providing engineering services, WT Partnership is the cost consultant, Coen Design is the landscaper architects, A61 Architects are assisting with designs, while Professor Gary Moore from Sydney University and early years educationalist Rosie Long have provided advice.
