The £1m Komatsu machine includes a 45m boom
The specialist demolition arm of Lee Group, has invested in what it claims is the UK's largest demolition machine, a £1million Komatsu PC800-8LC.
Specially built by Kocurek in Ipswich, it features a 45m boom onto which grapples, shearing devices, claws and buckets can be fitted. It has an extended undercarriage and a track base which widens hydraulically for extra stability.
The machine has already been pressed into service demolishing the Acetate Chemical Plant in Coventry.
