Contractor boosts affordable housing business with acquisition of £60m turnover company

Contractor Leadbitter has acquired Kent-based Denne Construction, the firm announced today.

Denne Construction, a £60m turnover company, will strengthen Leadbitter’s affordable housing business. The acquisition is expected to increase Leadbitter’s turnover to £250m for 2007.

Leadbitter group managing director Bob Rendell said: “Denne has an excellent management team which I am delighted to confirm will continue to work within the business. Our aim is to work jointly with them to further progress the exciting opportunities which Denne has in the south-east of England, south east Lodnon and the Thames Gateway.”
