US architect will work with Singaporean engineering consultant Web Structures on 30-storey tower
This £32m tower planned for Kuala Lumpur is US architect Kohn Pedersen Fox's first project in Malaysia.
The 30-storey building will be the Malaysian headquarters of real estate group Mulpha Properties. It will include 270,000ft2 of office space and five basement parking levels.
Singapore-based engineering consultant Web Structures has been appointed to the scheme. Hossein Rezai Jorabi, the group's director, said: “We are extremely pleased to have been invited to take part in this project, which is our first collaboration with KPF.
“It is the latest in a number of major building projects in Kuala Lumpur that we have been involved in and we will be using our local knowledge to deliver engineering solutions to help make this another landmark building in the city.”
