Knowles hires for Warrington office

Construction risk consultant Knowles has announced a new appointment at its Warrington office. Tom Francis joins the Hill subsidiary’s North West regional team as a consultant.

Francis has 10 years experience in the construction industry, having joined Knowles from Mace. His expertise lies in planning and delay analysis, with experience in large scale construction and infrastructure projects.

Currently completing an MSc in construction law and dispute resolution at the University of Central Lancashire, his role will be to work alongside planning director David Gainsbury within the team to assist in the development, management and delivery of the planning and delay services from the Daresbury, Warrington office.

At Mace, Francis worked for a number of private and public sector client’s providing pre-construction, site and delay-analysis advice.

Prior to this, he worked for Costain as a site planner on a variety of building projects in the North West.
