Firm’s property arm will build 375,000sq ft scheme
Kier Property has been selected preferred developer on a £240m, 375,000sq ft scheme in Watford.
The Watford Health Campus scheme will include new hospital facilities, up to 650 homes – 35% of which will be affordable – and a 37,500 sq ft office.
Kier Property was selected by Health Campus Partnership, formed by Watford Borough Council, West Hertfordshire Health Trust and Watford Football Club.
The office space has already been pre-let to West Hertfordshire Health Trust.
Kier’s chief executive, Paul Sheffield, said: “We are extremely pleased to be selected as the preferred partner to deliver the Watford Health Campus scheme, having worked closely with the partners to understand their vision and aspirations for the Health Campus and the area overall.
“We have an excellent track record of delivery and have an experienced and skilled team to take our proposals forward.”
