Kier wins £170m Ram Brewery first phase

Kier has been announced as preferred bidder for the £170m first phase of the £600m Ram Brewery regeneration scheme in Wandsworth, south London.

The first phase of the project, developed by Greenland Group, will see 338 of the total 663 planned new homes delivered on the site of the former Youngs brewery in south London.

The phase comprises 411,000 sq ft of housing and retail space across nine blocks of between four and 10 storeys, as well as the refurbishment and remodelling of the brewery complex.

Enabling works are due to start later this month, with the phase expected to complete in early 2017.
