Kier is named preferred bidder on contract supplying property and facilities management services to city council.

Kier has been selected as the preferred bidder for a £55m services contract in Sheffield.

The seven-year contract will see Kier supplying property and facilities management services to Sheffield City Council.

It will manage council buildings and land, and around 400 staff will transfer from the council to Kier.

Kier is already in a strategic partnership with Sheffield City Council, maintaining the Council’s 50,000 plus housing stock and municipal buildings.
