Gallagher chief executive Nick Yandle goes at end of year
The Kent builder that brought in former Laing O’Rourke director Steve Hollingshead as a non-exec earlier this year is beginning the search for a new chief executive.
Nick Yandle (pictured), who turned 61 last month, is leaving Gallagher Group at the end of the year after 13 years at the business which is based in Aylesford. He joined from Geoffrey Osborne where he was a director.
Gallagher chairman Pat Gallagher said: “Whilst he is stepping down from his full time executive duties with us at the end of this year, we are delighted that we will be able to access Nick’s experience on an advisory basis beyond that time.”
Hollingshead, who was previously chief executive of north London-based J Murphy before stepping down last December, said the search for Yandle’s replacement had already begun and would be announced later this year.
Gallagher reported a pre-tax profit of £7.3m on turnover of £60m in the year to September 2017.
