Acquisition by demolition contractor saves 250 jobs at Pectel, which becomes a division of Keltbray but keeps its name

Demolition and civil engineering contractor Keltbray has bought asbestos removal group Pectel out of administration for an undisclosed sum.

The move, which saves 250 jobs, will see Pectel keep its name and operate as a division of Keltbray.

Keltbray group managing director Brendan Kerr said: “We are delighted to secure the immediate future of the Pectel business by retaining the current 250 employees to ensure there is continuity in delivery, and that the transfer of ownership is a seamless one for employees and importantly clients.”
