Ground engineering specialist says recent acquistion Phi had a positive start to 2006.
Keller has reported 'exceptional results' for the first quarter of 2006. The ground engineering specialist said that its current order book was equivalent to six months' budgeted sales, a one month increase on a year ago.
Keller said its recent acquisition Phi had made a positive start to 2006, and that its foundation support division had a confident first half. The group said its other UK Business Makers will return an improved result compared with the second half of last year.
In the US Keller said results were boosted by the acquisition of Donaldson, and it said that the continental European and overseas business had an excellent first half.
Keller chief executive Justin Atkinson said: "The first half has been another period of excellent organic growth in all our main markets. This, together with our recent acquisitions of Donaldson in the US and Phi in the UK and our record order book, give me additional confidence that Keller will now deliver another year of strong growth."
Keller will announce interim results on 21 August 2006.
