Restricted access piling firm has annual sales of £17m
Ground engineering giant Keller has acquired Systems Geotechnique, a specialist contractor in drilling and grouting, for £7m plus £1.5m assumed debt.
Systems Geotechnique employs 100 workers and boasts annual sales of approximately £17m providing restricted access piling services. It was founded in 1999, and has bases in Lancashire and Hampshire.
Commenting on the acquisition, Keller chief executive Justin Atkinson said: “Systems Geotechnique brings considerable strength in terms of its people, equipment, design and construct know-how and customer relationships. In return, [Keller] offers strong financing, systems and controls, which will enable this growing business to continue to develop.”
The move follows Keller’s purchase last year of Phi, a specialist contractor in slope and excavation retaining wall systems.
