Phased programme of restarts
Keepmoat is reopening 46 sites in England under a phased programme over the next few weeks.
The £650m turnover firm, which employs 1,150 people, closed its sites at the end of March.
It said the reopenings would follow guidance issued by the Construction Leadership Council.
Chief executive Tim Beale (pictured) said: “The needs of first time buyers for an affordable first step on the housing ladder are unchanged. We have seen continuing demand for new homes and are ensuring that homes are available to buy as consumer confidence returns.”
The firm said its sales centres will reopen this Friday while its subsidiary MCI is reopening another 11 sites.
