Housebuilder Keepmoat is to make 200 jobs redundant following its merger with housebuilder Apollo, the firm has confirmed.

Building was the first to report that the two firms had put hundreds of jobs at risk in February ahead of the completion of the merger in March.

Now the 3,500 strong workforce will be reduced to 3,300.

The turnover of the newly formed firm is expected to be around £1bn.
