Firm planning to build 400 new homes per year in the region within five years
Keepmoat Homes has appointed housing veteran Ben Cook as regional managing director for the south west as it looks to accelerate its growth plans in the region.
Cook (pictured) has more than 20 years’ experience in housebuilding, having previously worked in land and commercial director roles for Taylor Wimpey, Barratt Homes, St. Mowden Development and most recently, Crest Nicholson for nearly two years.
In his new role, he will be charged with overseeing the successful delivery of developments across the south west as the firm continues to build its regional presence.
The move follows the housebuilder’s plan to open a new business unit in the region and build 400 homes per year there within the next five years.
Tim Beale, division managing director for the south at Keepmoat, said Cook’s two decades of experience will help it “develop new partnerships in the area and build much needed homes across the region.”
