SME consultants K2 and Rider Hunt are set to merge to create a £3m-turnover business
SME consultants K2 and Rider Hunt have announced they are to merge, creating a £3m-turnover business.
Farringdon-based property and construction consultant K2 will merge with quantity surveying practice Rider Hunt.
Rider Hunt’s six-strong team will join K2’s 20 staff with the combined company forecasting a £3m turnover for the year to 30 June 2015.
K2 had previously announced revenue of £2m in the year to 30 June 2014, with Rider Hunt posting £600,000 in revenue over the same period.
The new firm will be known as K2 Rider Hunt and will deliver a full range of management services to the construction and property sector.
John Setra, Managing Director of K2 Consultancy Group said: “Rider Hunt London is the perfect partner for us as they complement our current services. We felt it was the right time to start growing the business and there was a strong synergy between the two firms.
“Our aim was to merge with a specialist quantity surveying practice with a strong central London commercial client base and with the combined strengths of the two businesses capitalise on the growing central London market.”

K2 Consultancy was founded in 2001 and specialises in the aviation, healthcare, public sector and private work. It has worked with airport operators including Gatwick Airport, Heathrow, Edinburgh and Glasgow airports.
Other projects include NHS Estates’ Royal Surrey Hospital, East Surrey Hospital and Horsham and Worthing Hospital NHS Trusts and Lee Valley Estates £400m regeneration project at Hale Village (pictured), London.
Rider Hunt has specialises in office and retail developments including The Pollen Estate, St Katharine’s Dock and 150 Cheapside in the City of London.
