Consultant splits management board in two and makes 11 redundant
Consultant Currie & Brown has announced a major company restructure splitting the firm’s current management board in two and closing down one of its offices.
Staff were told the news today and heard that the restructure would mean 11 redundancies across the country including three in the Inverness office, which is to be closed down.
The original management board will be split into an operations board to focus on the company’s regional offices and a marketing board which will focus on four main sectors: public, private, financial and industrial.
In July Building revealed that Currie & Brown was overhauling its business to focus on regional business. The restructure included five special business units in Scotland, northern England, the Midlands and western England, London and southern England.
Currie & Brown insists that the current restructure is not another attempt to overhaul the business just four months later but a continuation of the original plan.
