Former Bovis Lend Lease project director Peter Millet is appointed construction director at Manchester developer
Artisan has appointed Peter Millet as construction director. The former Bovis Lend Lease project director joins brother Jason Millett at the Manchester-based developer and contractor group.
Millet spent 13 years at Bovis, including the past four as operations director in northern England.
Jason Millett also left Bovis last summer after falling out with senior management about the restructuring of the business. The former UK boss of Bovis Lend Lease joined Artisan as deputy chief executive back in January.
He said: “To secure someone of Paul’s ability is a real coup.”
In his new role, his brother will act as managing director of Artisan Construction Group (ACG).
Paul Deehan also joins Artisan as finance director. He was formally finance director of the property development and management business at United Utilities.
Carole Ainscow, Artisan chairman and chief executive, said: “These key appointments will give us the necessary strength and resource to grow further throughout the North and England.”
Other company appointments include Stephen Hardy, who joins ACG as construction director.
