Infrastructure support services group clinches rail contracts across the UK
Jarvis has won rail contracts worth £50m. The contracts secured by the infrastructure support services group include rail projects in Scotland, Rugby and the West Coast Mainline.
Jarvis Rail will carry out enabling works for the Airdrie to Bathgate and Glasgow Airport Rail Link projects funded by Transport Scotland.
It has won an extension for the second phase of the Rugby Station Remodelling scheme. Other contracts include enhancement schemes on the West Coast Mainline, Trent Valley 4 track, and works on Northampton resignalling.
Hochtief has also contracted Jarvis to undertake track modifications and signalling works on the Stratford Station Upgrade and the same team will carry out works for Thameslink Phase 0.
Jarvis chief executive Richard Entwistle, said: “These contract awards brings the total amount of project work awarded over the last six months to more than £115 million.”
