Closure set to hit company’s bottom line by up to £3m this year
Jarvis has announced the closure of its freight container services business as a result of the recession. It said the move would hit its bottom line by up to £3m this year.
A statement said: “This business represented less than 1% of the company's turnover in its latest audited results. Its freight coal haulage business with E.ON has continued to perform in line with management expectations and will not be affected by this decision.
