Boss of Jarvis’s roads division Andrew Martin will leave the company on completion of the deal

Jarvis has completed the sell-off of its Prismo Road Markings business to Texas-based Ennis Paint.

Andrew Martin, managing director of Jarvis’s roads division, will leave Jarvis following completion of the £9.5m deal.

Prismo made a loss of £3.9m for the financial year to 31 March 2006 and had gross assets of £21.3m on that date.

Prismo applies road markings and manufacturers specialised road surfaces. It comprises Prismo Contracting Services, Prismo Product Services and Prismo Traffic Products businesses.

Jarvis said it would use the proceeds of the sale to reduce net debt.
