Guernsey this week opens the £16.5m airport terminal designed by architect Kensington Taylor of Exeter and Babtie Engineering. The symmetrical building has a central concourse, aerofoil-shaped roofs and a trio of criss-crossing Y-shaped columns at the front. It was built by German contractor Hochtief with Davis Langdon & Everest as quantity surveyor.
