Fit-out specialist to upgrade sports centre in Maidstone

ISG has won a £2.9m project with Maidstone Borough Council to refurbish and upgrade facilities at Maidstone Leisure Centre in Kent.

The fit-out specialist and contractor will convert a former sports hall by installing a mezzanine floor to create a new 500 sq m, two-storey fitness suite.

The client group also includes the operator The Maidstone Leisure Trust and managing agent Serco.

Works are being phased to ensure the sports centre remains operational throughout the project, which commences mid-October and is scheduled for completion by spring 2010.
