Contractor ISG has paid £2.2m to buy German fit-out firm Tecton Engineering
ISG said the firm provides office fit-out and FM services to the commercial sector in Germany, primarily in the Rhine/Rhur area, Berlin and Frankfurt.
The current MD Christopher Eckes, who owns 10% of the business, wll continue to manage it, while the seller, Daniela Woell ,will exit the firm.
Tecton’s revenue in 2012 was just £7.4m, generating profit of £0.7m, but ISG said the acquisition would give it access to German commercial customers and provide it with greater scale in the largest European market.
