Jacquelyn Fox joins firm’s construction business as head of sustainability
Contractor ISG has appointed Jacquelyn Fox as its head of sustainability for its UK construction business.
Fox previously held the post of group head of sustainability at Barratt Developments between 2008 and 2011.
Most recently, she worked for the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers as head of sustainability, working closely with government to advise on sustainable development and zero carbon policy.
Fox said that at ISG she will co-ordinate best practice in sustainability across the firm’s construction business and will “create a cohesive sustainability strategy that is both deliverable and will set an aspirational benchmark for the business”.
She said she was “extremely impressed” with the way the firm had been “driving the sustainability agenda” to date.
Fox added: “The company is committed to achieving excellence in this important area and has an enviable portfolio of projects, including the Olympic Velodrome and Siemens Crystal, that act as a springboard to inspire and educate our internal team, supply chain and customers.
“We have the opportunity and resource to help define sustainability best practice for the construction sector and influence future legislation, and I am delighted to have been appointed to this exciting new role in such a forward-focused commercial environment.”
