Construction services firm brings in Michael Findley as its new chairman to replace Adrian Martin
Morgan Sindall has appointed former investment banker Michael Findlay as its new chairman with immediate effect.
Previously Findlay was co-head of investment banking for the UK and Ireland at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He is also is a senior independent director of UK Mail Group.
Findlay replaces Adrian Martin, who has stepped down.
Findlay said: “Morgan Sindall is an excellent business, with very strong, strategically important positions across the construction and regeneration markets.
“I look forward to joining the board and working with the company as it continues to build on the significant and exciting opportunities that lie ahead.”
In August the firm posted a return to profit having finally settled its problem contracts with the Ministry of Defence at its Faslane Naval base in Scotland.
The firm posted a pre-tax profit of £15.4m for the first six months of this year, compared to the £27.2m loss it racked up for the same period last year.
