Group to develop children's hospital and primary care centre in Wales
Interserve has won a brace of health contracts in Wales worth a total of £55m.
The group will develop a £45m children's hospital for Wales in Cardiff and design and build a primary care resource centre in Port Talbot.
We believe these facilities will make a real difference to families in Wales
Adrian Penrose:
The Interserve group sits on the Designed for Life: Building for Wales framework, and the paediatric hospital is the ninth project it has won through the partnership. It is expected to be complete by 2012. The smaller primary care resource centre is due by August next year.
Adrian Ringrose, chief executive of Interserve, said: "Together with the primary care centre we are building for the people of Baglan, we believe these facilities will make a real difference to families in Wales."
