As well as the Welsh Health Estates contract the support services group has also won a £70m schools contract in Northern Ireland
Interserve has won a series of health projects and an educational PFI scheme worth a total of more than £270m.
The health schemes, which have been awarded under the Welsh Health Estates framework, have a total value of £200m. Interserve’s consortium, Interserve Health Wales, will undertake design, healthcare planning, consultancy, services installation and construction on the schemes. The largest project is Newport Local General Hospital for Gwent Healthcare NHS Trust.
In consortium with building partner O’Hare & McGovern, Interserve has also been named preferred bidder on the £70m Down & Connor and De La Salle Schools project. The scheme involves the design, build, operation and maintenance of four schools in Counties Down and Antrim.
