Support services company wins contract to support infrastructure on the Ministry of Defence bases in Cyprus.
Support services company Interserve has been appointed preferred bidder on £100m contract to support the infrastructure on the Ministry of Defence's bases in Cyprus.
Interserve has been appointed to provide maintenance, repair and minor construction work on buildings and on roads and water and power supplies.
After a 24-week mobilisation period, the contract will run for five years, with a possible two-year extension.
Work will be carried out on two British bases - RAF Akrotiri and Episkopi support unit in the west and Dhekelia garrison, the Ayios Nikolaos stations and their link road in the east.
