Interserve finance director resigns for pub job

Interserve’s finance director has resigned to become FD at pub and restaurant group Mitchells & Butler.

The firm said in statement that Tim Jones, who is on a 12-month notice period, would stay at Interserve for an “appropriate period” to ensure a smooth handover to a new FD.

Interserve said it would look both internally and externally for candidates to replace Jones. Adrian Ringrose, chief executive of Interserve, said, “On behalf of our shareholders and everyone who has worked with and for Interserve, I would like to thank Tim for all his work over the last seven years. He has been a first-class finance director and we wish him well in his future career.”
