Mike Bottjer has announced that he will step down as chairman of the support services group.
Interserve chairman Mike Bottjer has announced that he will step down within the next year. In a statement at the Group's AGM Bottjer said that Interserve was taking steps to recruit a new chairman.
Bottjer had been chairman of support services group Interserve for nine years, and had worked at the company for 41 years.
Interserve said that its workload stood at a record £4.9bn at the turn of the year. In 2005 the Group said it had so far secured £800m of new contracts and framework agreements.
