Group confident about future performance as strong growth pushes first half turnover to £624m
Plumbing suplier BSS has reported a 23.5% jump in interim pretax profit to £26.3m.
The group said that strong growth in its industrial and domestic divisions in the six months ended 30 September had led to a 31.4% increase in turnover to £624.1m.
Chariman Peter Warry said that the firm would at least meet market expectations in the second half. He said: “The increased investment in the branch network and infrastructure underpins management's plan to fully realise the group's potential.”
