Scheme in for planning later this summer
Coffey Architects has been asked to design a £9m digital tech hub at City College Norwich.
It will provide learning space for the college’s technology, engineering and design courses in one building.
Called the Digi-Tech Factory, the scheme includes a three-storey building with a sawtooth roofline, wrapped in a perforated screen façade.
Others working on the scheme include QS Real Consulting, structural engineer Clancy and M&E consultant Clear Consulting and Design. Building inspector is Build Insight.
It is expected to go in to city planners later this summer with the hub due to open in time for the start of the 2020-21 academic year.
