Scheme built by Kier
Kier has completed a new student services centre designed by Bennetts Associates for Cambridge university.
The 6,720m2 project brings seven student support services from across Cambridge into a single location in the middle of the city.
Work involved new build accommodation and refurbishing existing grade II-listed buildings previously used as an arts school. The work is also part of the wider New Museums Site masterplan, which involves improving surrounding public realm.
Kier was joined by project manager and structural engineer Aecom, services engineers BDP and Munro Building Services along with cost consultant Edmond Shipway. Heritage consultant was Beacon Planning.
