Foster, Libeskind and Nouvel among finalists named at Mipim to design the Tour Signal in La Defense

In Cannes this week five projects were selected as finalists for the Tour Signal in La Defense, Paris.

The winning projects, chosen by EPAD, the public body in charge of development of the La Defense area, include:

  • Foster + Partners with Compagnie La Lucette
  • Jacques Ferrier Architectures with Hermitage
  • Studio Libeskind Architect with Orco Property Groupe
  • Ateliers Jean Nouvel with Medea Layetana Desarollos Immobiliarios
  • Wilmotte et Associés SA et Steven Holl with Groupe Financière Centuria /Bouygues Immobilier

Announcing the winners, Patrick Devedjian Président de l’EPAD, said: “The quality of the proposals […] does ensure that, after the CNIT and the Grande Arche, a significant mark will be made on the landscape and history of La Défense.”
