A sculpture unveiled at Goodwood Festival of Speed used BIM in its construction
A sculpture unveiled at Goodwood Festival of Speed, which ended last Sunday, utilised BIM in its construction.
“Five Ages of Ecclestone” - a tribute to the five-decade career of octogenarian F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone - was designed by sculptor Gerry Judah.
The project team, including consultant Diales, used BIM to transfer the design to analytical software and then communicate instructions to a specialist steel contractor for fabrication, site delivery and assembly.
