This is architect Metropolitan Workshop’s entry in an international competition for a footbridge in Drammen, Norway.
Judges have praised it for having the most exciting construction principle. They welcomed its cultural elegance and design, and singled out the lighting scheme for particular praise. The design team included Adams Kara Taylor on structures, Speirs & Major on lighting and Gross.Max on landscape.
